Looks like house on the NW corner of Page and Main Streets. It was torn down in the late 1960's I believe. Walter Eggleson had his Insurance Agency located there for many years. Denny's Gas Station was located at that location most recently.

This house was purchased by Jeff and Ronna Nyman in December of 2013 after it had sat vacant for three years. They renovated it inside and out. It was not on the historical registry due to it being rezoned as commercial and made into a daycare center for about 30 years prior.

Owned by Sylvia and Jon Lewis since 1986. The Severson family owned the house until about 1976, Mr and Mrs Tom Lockyear owned it for 10 years prior to the Lewises. Built with forced air heat and electricity. The Lewises have original family photos of the interior. The garage is the original carriage house. The Seversons were the first family in Stoughton to own a motor car.

That’s an Italianate house that has been decorated like a Queen Anne. The porch columns in DSCF6335 are appropriately classical, but the Inventory and current google street view photos show something (with brackets) much better suited to Queen Anne.

From K. Anderson: As you can see on the details from the Sanborn maps (1904 and 1912), the Van Buren House always sat at the corner of Prairie and Main, but at some point after 1912, it was moved from its West Main location to the back of its lot, and turned to face Prairie. (The same thing happened to my g-g-grandparents' house, which faced Main at the NE corner of Main and Madison: at some point in the late 1910s, it was moved back on the lot--but not rotated--and now has a Madison St. address.)
    Curator@HistoricStoughton.org | August 8, 2019

This appears to be the same house shown in DSCF6341 and DSCF0633, only 10 - 20 years earlier. It may have been the one that used to be on S. Prairie St. near the corner of Main St.
